BOSA Approved Courses for School Administrator Relicensure

Reminder:  Minnesota Board of School Administrators (BOSA) has approved EQ Learn courses for School Administrator CEUs.

As we mentioned last year at this time, our online continuing education courses are eligible for both teacher and school administrator clock hours. Each of our courses earns 3 CEUs and we provide a printable certificate upon completion of each course that our students can submit to their appropriate licensing board.

In order to receive BOSA certificates for our courses, you will need to update your Account profile to School Administrator by clicking on the link in the blue bar across the top of your Account page when you log into EQ Learn:School Administrator Account Update

 

This applies to both new accounts and returning accounts. Once you click the link, you will complete the form (shown below):

This will change your account from Teacher to School Administrator and will notify us that you need to receive BOSA certificates when you complete our courses.

BOSA certificates will be emailed to you within 48 hours of completing a course. You will continue to receive EQ Learn certificates on your Account page for each course you complete for teacher re-licensure. 

 

What are the State of Minnesota requirements for School Administrator license renewal, and do the EQ Learn courses address these requirements?

  • School administrators must earn 125 clock hours approved through the Board of School Administrators (BOSA).
  • All EQ Learn online courses have received BOSA approval.
  • Be sure to consult the Tiers 3 and 4 requirements above if you wish to renew your teaching license(s).
